I've used a couple of tubs of this now and must say it has definitely helped improve my recovery time between gym sessions. I haven't seen a huge amount of weight gain whilst using growth matrix however, so have now switched to just using whey protein after my workouts.

I've been using growth matrix for about 5 months now and it's by far the best post workout supplement on the market. It helps with recovery and maintainig anabolism. I usually take a protein shake (boditronics express whey) again about an hour after growth matrix.

I hate how some people review supps and bang on about taste. Its totally irrelevant how a supp tastes, it's all about how well they work and this works. It's still only a P.W. supp so you can't expect too much, you still have to take plenty of protein every day, have a clean diet and train hard.

I stack this with Jack3d pre workout supp which is awesome. I've tried plenty of pre workout supp's before like superpump, n.o. xplode etc and they've done nothing for me apart from keep me awake at night with all the caffeine. Jack3d is in a different league, must be the beta alanine in it but can see real improvements in strength every week and real focus. No crap/fillers added like the other stuff. Also take animal P.M. before bed for recovery.

Minor gripe - I'd prefer a higher amount of protein per serving as post workout you're generally able to absorb a higher amount than usual but overall a great way to feed your muscles after hard training. Superfit please put Growth Matrix back down to 30 quid and start selling Jack3d it's awesome!!

I have been using Growth Matrix for a while now and felt I should add this review because I think it is a great product. My recovery has definitely improved since I started taking it and bearing in mind it's only used on training days, a tub is pretty good value for the quality ingredients. I've only used the Orange & Lemon because I like the taste so much I don't need to try the other flavours (despite some reviews I've seen that criticise the taste because of the hydrolysed whey) but I always ensure the water is ice cold otherwise it doesn't taste as good! Highly rcommended.

Contains 1,600mgs of Beta-Alanine per serving & 2,500mgs Creapure Creatine per serving.
A combination of beta alanine and creatine that could increase muscle carnosine and creatine phosphate levels; the combination of which may provide better resistance to muscle fatigue as shown in scientific studies.
